Carrying forward a legacy of teaching, encouragement, and excellence in the electrical trade.
The Kenny Miller Foundation is a new non-profit organization founded to multiply the work of a man who spent decades lifting up everyone around him — through outreach, education, grants and scholarships, and advocacy for the electrical profession.
Why we exist
Kenny Miller has spent a career — and a life — encouraging electricians to become their best selves. As he steps back to enjoy time with his family, we're building an organization to make sure that spirit keeps reaching people, long after any one person could reach them alone.
“If there is such a thing as a local legend, it is him.”Christoph Leide, Founder — on Kenny Miller
What we're building
A first draft of ideas, shaped by a founding board and grown with the community. Four areas of focus, aimed at a national reach across the United States.
Outreach
Inspiring anyone with an interest in the electrical field to pursue it as far as they can go — and offering a helping hand at every step.
Education
Freely sharing knowledge, materials, and frameworks with anyone looking to grow — from a middle schooler to a seasoned engineer.
Grants & Scholarships
Removing financial barriers so that money is never the reason someone can't pursue their goals in this industry.
Networking & Advocacy
Partnering with schools, employers, and governments to advocate for training, certification, and licensing — and for the respect this trade deserves.
Join us
We're in the earliest stage — assembling a founding board of directors before we file for 501(c)(3) status. If Kenny's story means something to you, we'd love to talk.
